Preparing for Pregnancy

Pregnancy is one of the most important times in a woman’s life, for both her health and the health of her baby. Maximising nutrient content and reducing environmental hazards are important to ensure that your body is working to its optimum ability and to provide your baby with the best possible start to life.  Working with Foresight (the pre-conceptual care charity), high quality tests are used to analyse mineral and toxic metal levels.  A thorough investigation into diet and lifestyle will show whether digestion, stress and allergies also need addressing.  Bespoke nutritional programmes are then created to optimise the health and wellbeing of you and your baby.

The Preparing for Pregnancy programme is also suitable if you are over the age of 35 and can be used as preparation for IVF and ISCI treatments.

The Preparing for Pregnancy programme includes:

  • a confidential initial assessment (90 minutes)
  • a clear action plan including nutrition and lifestyle advice
  • help and guidance with Foresight tests and recommendations
  • two follow-up consultations (up to 45 minutes each), at 6 weekly intervals after the initial consultation.
  • ongoing email support for the duration of the programme.

For the best results it is recommended that both partners participate, and that the programme begins at least 3 months before conception is planned.

Cost £199 (per individual) or £299 (per couple).

Costs exclude Foresight membership, tests and supplements.

All tests are optional. Analysis of mineral level and toxic heavy metals are highly recommended for everyone and cost £85 per couple. Other tests may be recommended depending on individual circumstances.

Please allow around £2.50 per person per day for supplements for the duration of the programme.
